Abstract Flower: Conveying Heaviness
I wanted to draw a flower that looked like it had some weight and heft to it. What I wound up drawing had large curvy sections and distinct darker sections.

Artist Date: Woodbury’s Children’s Library
Whenever I go to a library, I spend time in its children's section. Last week, I went to the neighboring town of Woodbury, TN, not far from my house and submerged myself in its lovely children's section for an afternoon.
